Week 15 Biggest Loser

About Us

We are a large family that started with the marriage of Edith and William Gumbel.

They had 8 children, who in turned had a combined 22 children, who have so far had 10 kids of their own. This makes for very large family get-togethers.

But some of us have decided we are larger than we'd like to be in another way: we'd like to lose some weight, eat better, get more activity, and try to generally be healthier.

So we put out a couple of group challenges to the entire family. One is a "Biggest Loser" style competition, and the person to lose the greatest percentage of weight will be the winner.

The other challenge is to follow through with healthier habits. This second challenge will not have a winner, but will hopefully motivate each of us to stick to our individual health goals.
